Year 13 Football Match

After a fiercely contested match at Clapham Common against Harris Westminster , our year 13s came out as winners with a resounding 3-2 win, with goals coming from Franklin K (1) and Mohamed O (2) and great performances across the pitch.

The team decided that Mohamed O was in fact our Man of the Match, with a stunning performance to get his team back in front on 2 occasions, after the match we spoke to Mohamed who stated “I’m happy to have scored two goals, but even happier about the win and the outstanding performance from the boys. We fought until the very end; every player gave their all and proved that teamwork and communication are more important than experience and ability. Thank you to Ms. Padmore, Ms. Sandy, and all the other teachers who made this possible for us. We appreciate your efforts and hope for more opportunities like this in the future.”

Once again, Thank you to Ms Padmore and Ms Sandy for giving our year 13s the opportunity to play and win in their first ever game and thank you to all the students and staff that came to support us.
