House Morris Day
On the 11th of April Harris Clapham Sixth form hosted its first House Day. House Morris ran the day, so the academy was covered in purple. Students took part in a scavenger hunt which had them find items from across the academy, as well as answering some tricky brain teasers. After an incredibly close fought competition, Araxie C narrowly pipped her peers for first place, earning her a prize and House Kahlo 10 points! A cupcake decorating competition saw students get creative during the day. Special mention goes to Jason S for his rendition of Van Gogh’s Starry Night as well as Mary A for Clapham in the sunshine. The winning cupcake was a simple but elegant Daisy by Bryanna Q. Hopefully they were all as delicious as they looked! It was a lovely day, and a great opportunity for students to have some fun before an intensive few weeks of examinations. The House competition so far could not be tenser, with House Morris and House Kahlo neck and neck!
