UK Maths Trust Competition

This week, Year 12 and Year 13 students participated in the team Problem Solving competition organized by the UKMT (UK Maths Trust). During this event, students worked in groups of four on various problem-solving tasks, competing against other Harris Academies and private schools. The aim of this event was to provide individual students with a platform to refine their problem-solving skills and elevate their aspirations. The competition comprised three rounds, mirroring the structure of the Senior Team Maths Challenge: a group round, a shuttle round, and a cross-number. Congratulations to all students for their participation and teamwork. It was a fantastic and enjoyable day filled with mathematics!
