House Event: The Clapham Clash

During the last week of term, the school was buzzing with excitement as students and staff came together for an unforgettable house event – a thrilling game show that brought out the best in everyone! This highly anticipated event featured a variety of exciting rounds that tested a wide range of skills and knowledge, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. From brain-teasing maths challenges and quick-fire spelling bees to fascinating science questions and adrenalinepumping athletic tasks, the competition had it all.

One of the standout moments of the day was the performance by TNOVA and Lsquared, who captivated the audience with their talent and energy. Their contributions added a special spark to the event, showcasing the incredible skills and dedication within our school community.

The game show was more than just a competition; it was a celebration of teamwork and sportsmanship that highlights what makes our house system so unique. Both staff and students worked together to earn points for their houses, cheering each other on and displaying true house pride throughout the event.

When the results were announced, the tension in the room was palpable. In third place, Mendes House delivered a strong performance, while Morris House claimed an impressive second place. However, it was Franklin House who triumphed, securing first place and taking an early lead in the house competition.

With the house trophy now in sight, the race is well and truly underway. There are still plenty of events to come, and it’s all to play for. Who will lift the coveted trophy at the end of the year? Stay tuned to find out! A huge well done to all the house captains and house reps – your enthusiasm and team spirit are what make these events so special!
