Culture Day 2022

This week, our students celebrated the first ever culture day at HCL6F. Students had an incredible afternoon showing off their clothes during a fashion show and sashaying down the runway to the sound of their chosen tracks and a round of applause. The models spoke a little about what their clothes meant to them and the cultural significance of what they wore. There were Salwaar Kameezes from Pakistan, Baatis from Somalia and some incredible pieces of Kente clothing, as well as some beautiful clothes from Sierra Leone, India, Nigeria and many others. Students also enjoyed a themed menu in the canteen, a guest speaker and cultural displays around the school.
